    Questions

How do I make a PDF smaller than 300 KB?

Add it above. The tool tries the sharpest page resolution first and steps down until the file is 300 KB or less, then shows the resolution it used.

    Is my document uploaded?

No. The PDF is opened and rebuilt by code running in this browser tab. It is never sent to us or anyone else.

Can I still select text afterwards?

No. To reach small sizes the pages are saved as images. That is fine for scans and ID pages, but keep the original if you need searchable text.
